Our Story

I missed the ocean, so I decided to wear it.

I didn’t know it then, but that feeling would become D’La Mar.

Years ago, I was living away from Puerto Rico, and I found myself missing the little things that made the island feel like home — the salt in the air, the warm sunsets, the sound of the waves.

And somehow, I missed the ocean most.

When I came back to Puerto Rico, I wanted to find a piece of jewelry that felt like that.

Something simple.
Something elegant.
Something I could wear every day.

But with a little bit of the beach in it.

I couldn’t find it.

So I made it.

And that little idea became a piece…
then a collection…
and eventually, D’La Mar.

It all started as a hobby, from the corner of my room, without knowing how far it would go.

At the time, I was studying Accounting and getting ready to graduate. I was praying for God to have everything in place for me when that chapter ended.

I just didn’t expect Him to start revealing D’La Mar in the process.

The more I prayed, the more this little jewelry project kept finding its way back to me.

And somewhere along the way, I realized there was something deeper behind it.

Something that came first: my love for the One who created it all.

The ocean. The sunsets. The shells. The colors. All the little details that had always made me stop and look a little closer. 

Maybe that’s why the sea always felt so special to me. Because it constantly reminded me of the Creator behind it.

I graduated with my degree in Accounting.

But that little hobby in the corner of my room had already become something much bigger than I imagined.

Nine years later, I’m still here.

Still creating.
Still inspired by the sea.
Still discovering where this story can go.

From the corner of my room…
to Puerto Rico…
to wherever this story takes us next.

Because D’La Mar has never been just about jewelry.

It’s about the beauty that inspired it.

The memories we want to keep.

The places that feel like home.

And the Creator behind it all.
